In twenty-twelve, Ordinary Creative was launched to embrace my word of the year:  create!  I honored that goal, posting nearly everyday.  It launched a creative joy journey!  In the process, I discovered that giving my ideas space to breathe provided a wonderful portal for connecting with my family, friends and other kindred creative souls.   I hope you find a dose of DIY inspiration and thoughts that ignite your creative spark.

You will find a collection of detailed tutorials here, with a side of accidental philosophy.

I hope you will stop back or subscribe to receive regular updates.

We all have a thread of creativity – I hope you will

The inside scoop…

My home-base is in southeastern, Wisconsin where I live with my husband and teens.

Blessed to live in the digital era where I can snap lots of photos every day.

I am perpetual motion, with a side of laughter.

I believe there are no coincidences.

I have a sweet spot for candy:  see back of a Gobstopper box – Feed your Imagination!

I love to travel, meet new people on the journey of life and hear their story.

I love to run, water ski, paddle board… and I love yoga!

Creating music compilations & playlists make me happy!  Lyrics are soul vitamins and concerts really make my heart sing.

I believe that living a creative life means you are living the length and width.

My current mantra is: breathe in grace, excel graciousness.

I have been searching for heart shapes since 2006.

Hello there! I randomly came across your blog as I was reading through the Faith-topics blogs, and I am so glad I did. Your post Have A Little Faith was totally inspiring and I am so glad I clicked on it. You photographed beautiful pictures and I absolutely enjoyed every word you shared on that post! Thank you!
